Master Man
- This year we have learned about several comprehension strategies: set a purpose for reading, use prior knowledge, ask questions, consider text structure, visualize to experience, and summarize to determine experience.
- Good readers use all of these strategies without thinking about them. Sometimes, one strategy is used more than the others. Today when you are reading, notice which strategy you are using most. Use the strategy sheet to record the strategies you used and how you used the strategy. For example, if when I am reading, I notice that the text takes place somewhere I have never been, I'll really pay attention to the words in order to visualize to experience.
